I've been eating here on a very regular basis for the past nine (9) years and have never had a bad meal. The family who run the restaurant are the best ever...like being at home with "the folks"!!! Great service and very, very, good food at reasonable prices are a tough combination to beat. As the kids said to Mikey, "...try it, you'll like it...!!!!"
Stopped here with another couple while traveling. Huge choice of menu options--we chose the baked cod special, the cantaloupe with chicken salad, fried catfish, and the King Club. All the food was good and the portions plentiful. If you are in a hurry, stop at the Hardees or McDonald's on either side of this restaurant, but if you have a little more time to sit down and enjoy good food with good service, go for the Garden Restaurant.
The owners and wait staff are fabulous and friendly. Most of the food is great. Could use work on their grays and the loaded potato soup need more..oomph. would be great to have a vegetable cheese soup on the menu also.
